ABOUT DESNUDO
We first fell in love with hairless animals when we welcomed our Chinese Crested "Hank" into our family 4 years ago. We were very soon after introduced to the Peruvian Hairless Dog and have poured many hours into the research of this rare elegant breed and are proud to announce the addition of our first litters coming soon in 2022. Our main priority is the preservation of a incredible breed and further develop and expand the Australian blood lines as well as type and temperament. All of our dogs are DNA tested and raised in a family home with other dogs and cats.

My name is Georgia and I am a owner, breeder and exhibitor of Peruvian Hairless dogs (Large & Medium) and Chinese Crested dogs.
Located in Helidon, Queensland, we are a small established, family run kennel on a spacious property with lots of room for our dogs to run and play.
I got my first Chinese Crested dog, Hank, 5 years ago and I have not looked back. I had always loved Chinese Cresteds from a far until I got Hank and I was not let down. My love of the "weird and wonderful" creatures led me to also discover the Peruvian hairless dog and my love of the hairless grew even more. I am lucky enough to be mentored by Sally Johnson who is the heritage breeder of Peruvian Hairless Dogs and the first person to introduce the breed into Australia. After 5 long years of waiting to be situated properly to start my own kennel, I have finally achieved that goal.
I have been working as a Veterinary Nurse since 2011 and pride myself on striving to breed healthy, happy and sound puppies with the correct temperament and type, as well as ensuring the best care, training and treatment is given to all of our animals.
I am also very blessed to have the love and support of my husband, Dave, who also shares an amazing passion for both these breeds as I do.
We ensure all of our dogs are DNA tested and all matings are done to further both of the wonderful breeds while staying true to their heritage.
